Sew a softie workshop for teens (13-18)

When

Tuesday 16 June from 10:30am to 12pm

Want to design and sew your own one of a kind softie?

Join softie designer and author Trixi Symonds for a relaxed, hands on workshop where participants will create their own stuffed character using simple hand stitching techniques.

Experiment with shapes, colours and personalities to make a softie that can be weird, cute, quirky or anything in between.

No sewing experience is needed and all materials are provided.

About the facilitator

Trixi Symonds is a sewing teacher and designer who has been working with children for more than thirty years. She is the founder of Sew a Softie, a global initiative encouraging adults and teachers to sew with children.

Trixi is the author of The Zenki Way: A Guide to Designing and Enjoying Your Own Creative Softies and the Sew a Softie workbook series.
