Learn Philosophy in Sydney in this seven-week short course designed to teach you the fundamental problems of Philosophy with a focus on the topic of the nature of human existence.
This philosophy course will help you understand the key features of the mind and its relation to the body, it considers the nature of consciousness, the unconscious and free will. It will set out the basic elements which compose the human being.
This Philosophy short course will also deal with the question of whether human beings are ultimately nothing but bodies, or whether the mind is part of a non–physical aspect of being human, such as the soul. Turning then to an examination of the nature of life itself, especially the theory of evolution of human life. This also leads to an examination of the nature of death and the meaning that death has in philosophical literature.

Consider the nature of the human person in relation to consciousness and free will
Understand the relationships between human persons and how they contribute to our general concept of the human being.
