Monday 22 June from 6pm to 11:30pm
Sydney’s dining scene is set for a one-night-only culinary collaboration as acclaimed chef Paul Farag joins Hamsi Taverna’s Head Chef Erdi Akyol for an exclusive dinner event at Hamsi Taverna on June 22nd.
Bringing together two chefs known for their refined approach to Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, the collaboration will see Farag and Akyol present a bespoke menu designed exclusively for the evening. From 6pm, guests will experience a multi-course shared-style feast with a drink on arrival for $149 per person, alongside an optional $79 wine pairing.
Set against the waterfront backdrop of the new Sydney Fish Market, the menu will showcase both chefs’ signatures and shared influences through a progression of bold, produce-driven dishes. Guests can expect plates including turnip with tarama and roe, tarhana crumbed ling with walnut harissa, baby zucchini with aged rice and labne, glazed capsicum with whipped feta and marjoram, marinated sardine with shatta oil and smashed cucumber and dill.
