Painting course: Watercolour

Award-winning artist Matteo Bernasconi shares his extensive knowledge of painting in this 5-week course.

Set up in a collaborative learning format, Matteo will combine theory, demonstrations, and individual projects, as well as give participants an opportunity to share and reflect on each other’s work each session. This aims to provide the participants with good fundamentals in both painting itself as well as observation.

Working across both still life painting and live figurative painting, each week will focus on a new topic, that will help build the participant’s toolkit for watercolour painting. By the end of the course, participants will have gained knowledge in both watercolour fundamentals that can be applied across most painting styles.

10 spots only, maximum. We will keep the class small in order to keep a fun and intimate environment and to spend enough time with everyone individually

Every class will include artist demonstrations, discussions, painting time, and friendly discussions, and feedback on your work.
