Join us at Green Square Library as we celebrate everything our libraries have to offer with a full day of programs.
10:15am – 10:35am: Rhymetime
Combines rhymes, movement, music and singing to help develop early literacy skills. For 0 to 2 year-olds. More information
11am - 12pm: Library tour
We’ll peek behind-the-scenes, highlight unique features of the building and showcase how the library supports creativity and learning. Book here.
11:30am – 12pm: Storytime
Fosters a love of reading, develops literacy skills and encourages social interaction for school readiness in a fun setting. For 3 to 5 year-olds. More information.
3:30pm – 4pm: Ask a Librarian
A moment for visitors to connect with the people behind the shelves. These sessions create space for storytelling, discovery, and those “I’ve always wondered” moments, from hidden gems in the collection to the unexpected ways librarians support their communities. Hear from knowledgeable library staff and explore the deeper world of libraries through conversations. More information and bookings.
4pm - 5pm: 3D printer launch
Discover the new 3D printer, part of the wider library network’s fabrication service. This hands-on introduction offers a live demonstration and a chance to see the technology in action. It’s an opportunity for the community to explore new creative possibilities and get a glimpse of what’s to come. Book here.
