Friday 17 October from 8am to 11am Saturday 18 October from 8am to 11am

“We must come down to earth from the clouds where we live in vagueness and experience the most real thing there is: material.” Anni Albers

This live, interactive, two-part training invites artists and makers to explore what it really means to make exceptional work - through close attention to material, process, and perception. Guided by ceramic artist and artist mentor Amy Kennedy, you’ll learn how to turn your biggest creative ‘problem’ into a powerful tool for progress, use constraints and apply benchmarks to bring greater depth to your work.

You will learn a practical critique framework for assessing your own work with clarity and confidence, and how to implement daily practices to sharpen your ability to see with fresh eyes. A supportive and stimulating space designed to grow your sensitivity, challenge and expand your thinking and deepen your material understanding – to move your work from good to exceptional.

Online Workshop Friday 17 October and Saturday 18 October, 8am - 11am, free.
