Wednesday 29 July from 6:30pm to 8pm
Parenting does not come with a neat script. Some days the questions are simple: What time is pick-up? Have you packed lunch? Where are your shoes?
Other days the questions sit much deeper.
How do I talk to my child about bullying?
How do I support my teen through anxiety?
What do I say about vaping, pornography, consent, sexuality, screen time, friendship drama, school refusal, identity, or risk-taking?
And perhaps the biggest question of all: how do I stay connected when the conversation feels hard?
The Let’s Talk Parent Conversation Series is a practical, supportive seminar series for parents and carers who want space to think, talk, listen, and learn. This is not a lecture series where someone stands at the front and pretends to have all the answers. It is a facilitated conversation where good information, practical tools, lived experience, and steady parenting wisdom can sit around the same table.
Talking So They Can Hear Us
Starting hard conversations before they become crisis conversations.
This session explores how parents can create conditions for better conversations at home.
We look at:
timing
tone
curiosity
emotional safety, and
the difference between reacting to behaviour and opening a conversation.
