Leading with Authenticity

Join Franklin Women for a night of connection and career shifting conversations about leading with authenticity!

When it comes to leadership, many of us feel we need to conform to old school stereotypes around the traits of effective leaders, even when these qualities feel at odds with our authentic selves. However, there is growing evidence demonstrating that authenticity in the workplace brings greater job satisfaction, happier teams, and increased productivity. So we welcome a stellar role model of authentic leadership, Prof Frances Kay-Lambkin, to join a panel of women representing different roles and career levels within industry, government, clinical care and higher education. Together they will discuss what authentic leadership means to them, strategies they have employed to bring this to life and the positive outcomes this has in the workplace.

Keynote: Prof Frances Kay-Lambkin - Director, Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI)

  • Dr Ashna Basu – Psychiatry registrar and President, Medical Women’s Society of NSW
