Join Maya Sunny Honey at The Grounds of Alexandria these school holidays for a hands-on workshop where little ones can get up close with the fascinating world of bees and honey
Led by expert beekeepers, children will learn how bees work together to produce honey, why they play such an important role in our environment and what happens between the hive and the breakfast table. They’ll also have the chance to work with real honeycomb, extract their own honey and fill a jar to take home.
It’s an engaging, hands-on experience designed to spark curiosity, encourage learning and leave kids with a newfound appreciation for one of nature’s hardest-working little creatures.
