Friday 19 June from 6pm to 9pm
Come along to this fun and interactive evening of storytelling and performance where your story matters.
The evening will be facilitated by Samah Shda from Unbound Stories (www.unboundstories.org) who came to Australia as a humanitarian entrant (refugee) from Iraq, via Turkey.
You’ll learn how to tell your story, hear other share their stories of journey and migration, and see stories performed by actors and singers.
The session includes a guided collaborative writing workshop where you’ll work in small groups to develop your own stories. The event closes with each group bringing their story to life through performance, acting and music.
This event is part of Refugee Week.
