Celebrate the unveiling of the inaugural Neil Balnaves Tallawoladah Lawn Commission by Thomas J Price with this special in conversation event.

Price is renowned for his large-scale sculptures of everyday, imagined people that invite us to consider who is typically represented in public space. His works encourage reflection on the role statues play in shaping collective memory, reimagining who is valued and remembered.

Join Price and award-winning writer and filmmaker Santilla Chingaipe in this engaging conversation in the MCA's Lecture Theatre. Together they will discuss the ideas, process and research behind the artist's first major public artwork in Australia.

Followed by a Q&A. Tickets include General Admission to current exhibitions.
