MCA Art Play is a free, drop-in program for children aged 0–5 and their grown-ups.

Inspired by the seasons and artworks on display, these open-play sessions spark creativity, curiosity and connection. Rooted in Reggio Emilia principles, Art Play encourages children to lead the way while adults follow alongside.

No bookings required – just come along and choose your journey. If sessions are full, families are welcome to enjoy other hands-on activities at the MCA while they wait.

During your visit, experience our current exhibitions with a 20% offer on General Admission tickets. Free for MCA Members and under 18s.
