Guided ride: Two Bridges & the New Fish Markets

Be among the first to put some of Sydney’s best bike-friendly links together in one relaxed loop—two iconic bridges, Rozelle Parklands, and the newly refurbished Fish Markets, plus a stack of handy connections you can reuse for day-to-day riding.

This guided ride is for people wanting to learn bicycle-friendly routes to navigate their city. We ride at a leisurely pace, giving you time to see sights, take photos, and speak with the guides and other riders.

Riding is about building connections, not just the ride. Make friends, exchange stories, and learn how to plan your own journeys.

Start point

Glebe to Ultimo cycleway entrance — corner of Mary Ann St and Jones St (Glebe).

On this guided ride, you’ll discover

• How to link into Pyrmont and across Pyrmont Bridge

• The ride through to Rozelle Parklands

• The approach and connection up to Anzac Bridge

• The run past the newly refurbished Fish Markets

• Numerous bike-friendly connections and “how do I get there?” links you can use again (and mix-and-match for different trips)

What to bring

• A roadworthy bike and helmet (every bike welcome)

• Water bottle and snacks

• Comfortable clothes for the weather

• Your sense of adventure

Guided rides on behalf of City of Sydney are led by friendly professional guides from Pedal Set Go.

Please arrive at 10:15am for a 10:30am start.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. The Cycling in the City course will equip you with the skills you need to ride in Sydney.
