Newtown to Darlinghurst Loop: Exploring Sydney by Bike

Discover how easy and enjoyable it is to move through Sydney by bike on this relaxed 10km loop ride. We’ll roll from Newtown to Darlinghurst and back using a mix of new cycleways, low-traffic backstreets, and shared paths—linking some of Sydney’s most interesting inner-city neighbourhoods.

This ride is all about showing you how to connect the dots on your own bike journeys. You’ll explore quiet routes between Newtown, Redfern, Surry Hills, and Darlinghurst and experience the growing network of bike-friendly infrastructure firsthand.

Whether you’re new to riding or looking to build more confidence navigating the city, this is a great chance to practice in a supportive, social setting.
