This show is an exploration of our relationship with smaller forms of life, mainly insects – from how we misunderstand them, through why we hate them, all the way to why we need them.
Along the way we’ll also uncover some of the fascinating research that’s showing us just how incredible they truly are.
Kids toys and bugs might seem pretty basic, but the colourful, chaotic art of Gone Buggo is simply a lens through which to view the natural world. Here in Australia, where up to 70% of the biodiversity hasn’t even been named by science yet, nobody knows that much about what surrounds us. But tour guide, TEDx speaker, and science communicator Steven Gill takes his playful, vibrant live animal/ LEGO photography and turns it into a fun, engaging, all ages exploration of natural science to deliver a lesson you’ll never forget!
