In the second of our series, we again explore the side streets of 'Woolloomooloo Hill'.
Some of Sydney's finest mansions were built here in the 1820s and 30s, and we uncover their history, their stories and their characters, including Surveyor-General Sir Thomas Mitchell, deputy Surveyor-General Samuel Augustus Perry and merchant Alexander Brodie Spark.
Our two-hour walk also takes in the sites of the Stables Theatre and the Metro-Minerva.
We get an exclusive look inside Tusculum (John Verge architect) and finish at another Verge achievement, Elizabeth Bay House, where guests are free to explore further.
