Would you like to make a piece of art with a moving component? In this fun STEM activity, you will build an automation, a machine that moves parts appear and disappear and move around all using paper.
This would be an introduction program in crafting your first Automata – where you create a mechanical sculptures or toys that move, usually powered by gears, levels and other linkages.
Library staff will be on hand to guide you through the craft and provide all the materials, tools and know how.

· This activity is suitable for persons aged 8-12 years.
· Parents or guardians must sign in for attendees and stay within the library space for the duration of the activity.
· Places are limited. Bookings are essential.
