Saturday 4 October from 11am to 4pm
Dyeing to Be Me! is a free creative workshop designed for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent young people aged 16–25. Facilitated by queer fashion designer Gary Bigeni and the team at Affirming Access, this hands-on session uses tie-dye as a fun and expressive way to explore self-advocacy, identity, and pride.
Participants will be provided with T-shirts, tote bags, and all tie-dye materials, plus lunch and refreshments. The workshop will be held in a sensory-aware, inclusive environment, with quiet spaces and peer support available throughout the day.
Proudly funded by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, this event is about creativity, connection, and celebrating who you are. Places are limited to 15 participants.
