Highlights from our September cinema season include:
Future Council + Q&A - 3 September
Director Damon Gameau (2040, That Sugar Film) invites eight children on an epic adventure across Europe in a school bus powered by biofuel. Their mission is to better understand the planet’s predicament, explore solutions and take the conversation into the boardrooms of some of the world's most influential companies. Stay on for a post-screening Q&A featuring youth leaders tackling one of the defining challenges of our time.
Alphabet Lane + Q&A - 5 September
Shot on a family cattle farm in the Monaro region of New South Wales, Alphabet Lane is the feature debut of Australian director James Litchfield, delivering a funny, twisted and often jaw-dropping take on the perils of tree-change. There will be a post-screening Q&A with members of the Alphabet Lane team.
Arco - 6 September
Oscar nominated, Arco is a dazzling adventure about a 10-year-old boy from a peaceful, distant future who accidentally travels back to the year 2075 and discovers a world in peril. It features a much-loved voice cast including Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Andy Samberg, Mark Ruffalo and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
