Ceramics: wheel throwing for young people, 12-16yrs
Sunday 19 October from 10am to 12:30pm
Learn the basics of wheel throwing in this fun 4-week course. Your experienced tutor will give you step-by-step instructions on how to create your very own wheel-thrown ceramics.
You will create cups, bowls, or other vessels and then learn to decorate your creations.
This course is a fabulous opportunity for young people to explore the medium of clay.
No prior experience is necessary. Returning students will be encouraged to take more complex approaches to the medium.
Week 1: 19 October, 10am - 12:30pm
Week 2: 26 October, 10am - 12:30pm
Week 3: 2 November, 10am - 12:30pm
Week 4: 9 November, 10am - 12:30pm
Small class size: maximum 10 students.
Level: designed for beginner level students.
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes (trousers recommended).
Bring: please bring your own apron and towel.
