This fast-paced, interactive session is all about having fun with stories. Charlotte Barkla will share the stories behind her stories and inspire students to create their own.
Hear funny tales from Charlotte’s childhood and learn the stories behind her picture books, including All Bodies are Good Bodies, From My Head to My Toes, I Say What Goes and Let’s Try Again Another Day.
Together we’ll read books, draw and brainstorm ideas for new characters.
What you will need: Students will need paper and pens/pencils for this session.
Target audience: Suitable for Kindergarten – Year 2 students (children aged 5-8) but everyone is welcome.
