This exhibition marks the artist’s second solo exhibition in Sydney. Most of the artworks from this exhibition were newly painted during the time the artist staying in Sydney in 2025 and 2026. The collection features vibrant blossoms from jacaranda trees lining the residential streets of Sydney, flowers he has captured from his eyes in Sydney’s garden. It also includes landscape paintings inspired by traditional Chinese aesthetics.
Painting inspiration from the beauty of the world around him, he transforms what touches the heart into expressive brushwork, allowing blossoms and landscapes to unfold on Chinese traditional papers with grace and vitality. As the new year approaches, we warmly welcome all visitors to join us in welcoming new year ahead with hope and joy throughout this exhibition.
Over 40 years, Biao Zhu has held numerous exhibitions both in China and internationally, and has published several collections and collaborative art books. This artist is a distinguished painter from Shenzhen, China.
