Thursday 9 July from 6pm to 8pm
As ‘Artist’s Mouth’ enters its final days, join co-curator Lucy Latella in conversation with artists Mitch Cairns, Agatha Gothe-Snape, and NAS Acting Head of Painting Elizabeth Pulie.
Together, they will reflect on Cairns’ artistic practice over the past two decades – from his time as a National Art School student in the early 2000s to his position as a leading figure in contemporary Australian art.
NAS Gallery will be open after hours for this special event, with drinks available for purchase throughout the evening.

Co-curated by Lucy Latella, NAS Curator, Exhibitions, and Robert Leonard, IMA Director, this is the largest and most comprehensive presentation of Cairns’ work to date.
