Join the wellness walk and raise awareness about mental health.

As part of the mental health month, the wellness walk is a family-friendly bridge walk promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

For over ten years, this event has raised more than $500,000 for essential mental health services, supporting the 1 in 5 Australians facing mental health challenges.

Crossing Sydney Harbour Bridge symbolises bridging the gap between stigma and understanding. The act of walking reflects that living with mental health challenges is a step-by-step, one-step-at-a-time process of progress and resilience.

Participants can choose to walk 2km around the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens or 5.9km across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and back. Upon their return, they are welcomed to a vibrant festival at Government House, filled with engaging activities to celebrate their collective efforts.
