Virna Sanzone Quartet: "Songs of Love"

Foundry616 is thrilled to welcome back one of Australia’s most distinguished jazz and soul artists for the first weekend of 2025! Multilingual vocalist, Virna Sanzone has performed across a diverse range of genres with an impressive list of Australian greats, including Paul Grabowsky, Paul Kelly, David Campbell, and Ian Moss to name a few.
She will be joined by her long-time collaborators and three of Sydney’s most esteemed musicians, pianist Matt McMahon, bassist Lloyd Swanton, and drummer Hamish Stuart.
With a sensitivity, spontaneity, and synergy that can only come from years of collaboration, they will breathe new life into much-loved standards and effortlessly reinvent little-known gems.
This evening of exploratory, multicultural jazz and soul-infused music will be at its finest!
