Unfiltered & unbound: queer junk journaling for teens

Where
Green Square Library

When

Saturday 21 March from 1pm to 3pm

Discover the art of turning the "discarded" into something deeply personal. Junk journaling is more than just a craft - it’s a radical form of self-expression where there are no mistakes, only stories waiting to be told.

Bring along mementos, photos, movie stubs, concert flyers, stickers, or scrap paper that you can’t bear to throw away.

Whether you're capturing moments of "queer joy", navigating a "vent session", or simply playing with your aesthetic, this is your space to be unapologetically you. Join us in a safe, inclusive environment where your pronouns are respected and your creativity is celebrated.

You’ll have full access to our "Junk Bar" - a stash of magazines, rainbow ephemera, and funky textures - along with guided prompts focused on identity, creativity and radical self-love.

Come for the art, stay for the good vibes.

Suitable for ages 12–17
