Tuesday 28 October from 9am to 12:30pm
Connect Sydney is hosting the Centre for Women’s Economic Safety's Understanding and Responding to Financial Abuse workshop for community organisations.
This 3.5-hour face to face workshop is designed to build capacity for sector workers and volunteers who want to better understand this insidious form of abuse and improve their responses when supporting the community.
Limit of two people per organisation. Please arrive at 8.45am for a 9am start.
This workshop is part of the City of Sydney's Connect Sydney program, funded by the Department of Communities and Justice. The program aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible training sessions. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Vicky Skarlatos, social programs officer on 02 9265 9333 or vskarlatos@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
