Tidda Midjang ‘Sister Girl’ program

Tidda Midjang is a culturally grounded youth program designed for Aboriginal girls aged 9–16 years.

The program creates a safe and supportive space where young women can connect, build confidence, and strengthen their sense of identity.

Through weaving, story telling, art and language workshops Tidda Midjang fosters empowering relationships among the young people by, encouraging leadership, resilience, and wellbeing. The program is guided by the values of respect, connection, and cultural pride, ensuring that every young woman feels heard, supported, and celebrated within her community.
