JK-47

If you’re a Hip Hop fan in Australia, you should by now know the name JK-47. Whether as the Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Year or from his jaw-dropping Like A Version twist on ‘Changes’ by 2Pac, JK-47 is a talented Indigenous artist recognized by acts like Denzel Curry, Hilltop Hoods, and many more. Starting at fourteen, JK-47’s name has become familiar across Australia’s hip-hop landscape, known for his timeless lyrics and ability to paint pictures with his music. With a triple j feature album, nominations for Best New Act at the Rolling Stone Awards and Acclaim Magazine Rookie of the Year, and bookings for major festivals like Laneway and Splendour In The Grass, JK-47 is on a bright path. His sophomore album, Revision For Regrowth, shows the world what he’s capable of as he embarks on a mission to touch hearts and minds globally—a mission he will achieve.

PANIA

Despite being in the infant stages of her career, Pania’s vision has always been global. Raised in the cultural melting pot of West Melbourne, she drew inspiration from her Maori and Indian heritage, fusing it with a fiery desire to achieve bigger things. PANIA kicked off 2023 with a bang, supporting Kehlani and releasing ‘PSTANDS4PLAYA’ & ‘2Sides (freestyle)’. This follows her breakout year in 2022, marked by her single ‘tiki’, praised by VICE as “a tantalising mix of culture, sound and aesthetic”, which cemented her place as a frontrunner in Australia’s R&B scene, followed by ‘LETHIM4ALL’ and ‘MYCREW’, a Top 10 hit in New Zealand. Collaborating with Hamley, PANIA’s debut EP ‘burnt ur clothes & changed the addy’ tackles the ups and downs of young adulthood with self-aware and fundamentally human themes, solidifying her as a global breakout artist. PANIA’s star power has been recognized by media, industry, and fans alike, leading to features in campaigns, sold-out shows, and plans for overseas writing trips while continuing to release a steady stream of music.
