The Shadow Sizzle

Hot diggity dawg, the Shadow Sizzle is coming for Father's Day. Sun 6th Sept, 10am to 2pm at Shadow Baking Marrickville (Messinaville), 1 Rich Street. Get in for the whole vibe, not just the snags.

We're firing up the bbq for Father's Day. Taking inspiration from the sausage sizzles of a well known hardware chain, we've put our own spin on it with three snag specials, each repping a head chef's home turf. First up, a classic Aussie Dog from Tom Mitchell, executive chef at Messina and Shadow Baking.

Then the Frog Dog from Florian Fitsch, head chef at Shadow Baking, bringing a taste of France. Rounding it out is Go Amano's Hottodoggu, head chef at Erin Restaurant and Bar, an homage to a classic konbini sando.

Wash it down with beers by Grifter, grab a pastry or full brunch, and stick around for music all afternoon. There's a bouncy castle for the kids and any dad who reckons he's still got it.

We're also running competitions all day with a Weber gas BBQ, a prize pack from Grifter + some Shadow goodies up for grabs.
