The Lord of the Rings films feature some of the greatest scores ever composed and in this concert you will hear them like never before – led by conductor Nicholas Buc and unpacked by popular podcasters Art of the Score.
Alongside live demonstrations of the music, explore how this Academy Award-winning music brought Tolkien's vast and sprawling worlds to life and became an unforgettable element of Peter Jackson’s beloved films.
From the charming Concerning Hobbits to the thrilling drama of The Bridge of Khazad-dûm and the uneasy embrace of Lothlórien, the Art of the Score and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will take you there and back again.
