“Sometimes, you have to become the villain in another’s story to be the hero of your own.”
A striking reimagining of the Medusa and Athena myth, The Forked Tongue reclaims one of mythology’s most misunderstood tales. Through poetic monologue and visceral imagery, the play explores the blurred lines between vengeance and justice, divinity and humanity, beauty and monstrosity.
As Athena and Medusa face each other across centuries of silence, their stories twist together in a meditation on power, trauma, and transformation. Fierce, lyrical, and unflinching, The Forked Tongue asks us to look again at the stories we think we know — and question who they were written for.
