Step into Sydney’s chilling past and have a chuckle along the way with this true crime walking tour that is packed full of dark humour.
You’ll visit the locations of real crimes as we delve into Sydney’s historic underbelly.
Together we will explore murder and mystery – all of which has taken place in Sydney!
This tour will focus on the Surry Hills and Darlinghurst areas, which 100 years ago was the crime den of Sydney.
This walking tour (well, the Adelaide version) had rave reviews and was attended by hundreds of people during the 2025 Adelaide Fringe.
Your guide, Dave Crisante, is a modern day true crime expert – having previously worked for the federal government where he had to rub shoulders with spies, snipers and hostage negotiators.
Dave has been rescued from pirates by NATO (it was actually very terrifying), been personally called up by Tony Abbott to find the missing plane MH370 (he didn’t find it), and even helped Schapelle Corby to get out of Bali (she didn’t get her surfboard bag back).
Upon turning to comedy, Dave’s security clearance was immediately revoked...
Dave is the founder of the Sydney Comedy School and runs numerous comedy shows throughout Australia in all the major festivals, such as his alcohol tasting shows, comedy science talks shows, and crowd work shows.
This show is a joint production by Future Science Talks, the Sydney Comedy School and Comedian Dave Crisante.
