Surry Hills Christmas Fair

Join our Christmas celebration on Crown Street.

We'll sing and dance and get into the festive spirit along with a bunch of talented performers.

There'll be stalls for your Christmas shopping and delicious eats and drinks. Bring along your friends and family for a day of fun, with a pop up cinema, games and more.

Don't miss the chance to enter your furry friend into our Santa Paws Dog Parade. Win awards for the best dressed Christmas pooch, best dog and owner outfit combo and best trick. Registration is essential.

Crown Street closed to traffic for the day. Entertainment starts at 2.30pm.

Festive Silent Disco: Corner of Rainford & Crown Street

4pm - 9pm: Groove into the holiday spirit at the Variety Vibes Festive Silent Disco!

Tickets are just $15 per person, with all proceeds supporting Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT.

Santa's Sleigh Ride 

Departs 6pm - 6.40pm: Follow Santa Claus as he journeys from Cleveland Street down Crown Street to the Surry Hills Christmas Tree at Collins Street Reserve, next to the Surry Hills Library.

Our charity partner Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT will receive a $5 donation for a photo with Santa. They'll also have a merchandise stall, offer face painting and coloured hair spray for a donation, and sell raffle tickets. 

Catch Gold FM live at their DJ booth from 2–8 pm, and don’t miss the street team handing out goodie bags from 2–6 pm.

The nearest train and metro station is Central. The light rail stops at Ward Park on Devonshire Street. There are also buses. Visit Transport NSW or call 131 500 to plan your trip.
