The Student Climate Leadership Forum returns to the Australian Museum in 2026. This one-day interactive workshop, facilitated by a range of experts, supports schools to create student-led initiatives for climate action. Hosted by ocean and climate champion Kal Glanznig, this popular event provides students with practical skills in caring for our planet.
Gather a team of students who are keen to create change and kick-start your school’s climate action plan.
Your students will:
Hear from experts about realistic steps we can take to build climate resilience.
Be inspired by real life examples of local climate action.
Engage in practical, hands-on workshops for school sustainability initiatives.
Receive guidance from museum educators on how to develop a structured, school-wide plan for effective climate action.
Leave with a blueprint of your school’s climate action plan!
Schools may nominate a maximum of eight (8) students (Years 7 - 12 in 2026) and one teacher to attend.
