Drawing on folk tales, poetry, and theatrical traditions, Melanie Walters presents a recital of contemporary flute works that weaves stories through music and text.

This eclectic program includes compositions by Nathalie Joachim, Amy Beth Kirsten, and Andrew Ford.

Recently named the SA State Luminary at the 2026 Art Music Awards, Melanie Walters is an Adelaide-based flute player who specialises in contemporary music.

Her previous Fringe shows have been described in reviews as "exceptional", "highly original", "captivating", and "mesmerising and inspiring".
