Sydney street dance crew Stale Biskitz hits Carriageworks for an exciting line-up of free popping workshops (open to all) and 2v2 popping battles featuring some of the hottest talent on the battle scene.
Dive into the fundamentals of popping with brothers Poppin Jack and Keanu or explore freestyle techniques with Jiggy Jaya and K.O in two hands-on workshops.
Already got what it takes? Showcase your skills and compete in a high-energy 2v2 battle for cash prizes.

WORKSHOP 1 WITH POPPIN JACK & KEANU
11 - 11:45am
Join dynamic duo Poppin Jack and Keanu from Stale Biskitz for an energising workshop on the foundations of Popping.
The brothers will lead the session through a number of party grooves and the technique of isolation to master the “pop.” You’ll leave with a short routine to take away, plus some time to showcase your own dance moves.
WORKSHOP 2 WITH JIGGY JAYA & K.O
11:45am - 12:30pm
Explore freestyle with Jiggy Jaya and K.O from Yellow Boogie Funk.
This workshop focuses on body isolations and creativity, encouraging you to explore freestyle. You’ll learn Puppet and Toyman styles and discover how to incorporate these techniques into your own unique flow.
2V2 POPPING BATTLE AND SHOWCASE
1-5pm
Team up for the Stale Biskitz Summer Moves 2v2 Popping battle. The top 16 teams will be selected from the preliminary to battle. Each dancer gets 45 seconds per solo round plus 15 seconds if they prepare a routine within that round.

DJ: Keanu
MC: Poppin Jack
Winners receive $500 cash + certificates and runners up $100 cash + certificates.
