Somos Expo — 18 Latin Visual Artists (OLA x Goodspace)

A one-night celebration of Latin American and Hispanic-Australian art, featuring 18 artists across painting, sculpture and photography.

Somos Expo brings together 18 Latin American-Australian artists for one night at Goodspace Gallery, presented by Other Latin Art (OLA) supported by Young Henrys.

This showcase features different art mediums whose work explores identity, migration and cultural memory, work made by artists navigating a new country, and by Latin-heritage Australians reconnecting with their roots.

The night's soundtrack is curated by Foxy Fuzz, bringing Femme-Forward Collective to the decks with an all-vinyl Latina music lineup featuring 2 DJs, the same spirit of representation and community-building that OLA brings to the walls. Grab a free beer on the night, generously supplied by Young Henrys.

Somos Expo continues OLA's track record of culturally driven exhibitions, including Hispana Expo (11 artists, 8-month run, covered by SBS Spanish) and MUY (45+ artists, Marrickville Town Hall). Expect a warm, community-first opening night, art, conversation, and a genuine cross-section of Sydney's Latin diaspora.
