Thursdays, 3pm to 5pm Thursday 23 October to Thursday 27 November

In this program, you will:

  • understand how social anxiety works

  • develop insight into thinking, feeling and behavioural aspects of the problem

  • learn ways of managing unhelpful thinking styles and unhelpful behaviours that can perpetuate the problem

  • practice helpful skills and behaviours in a supported way through group interaction and practice tasks in between sessions.

Prospective participants (18+) may be asked to undergo a brief eligibility screening to ensure that the group aligns with their current needs and goals.

There is no cost or Medicare referral needed. The group meets weekly over 6 weeks at the ACAP Clinic in Sydney CBD (near Hyde Park).
