Sunday 23 November from 10am to 11:30pm
Join us for a performance of Missa Mirabilis, a sacred choral work by composer and pianist Sir Stephen Hough, which he named after his near-fatal car accident in 2007. It was commissioned by Westminster Cathedral and is characterized by its dramatic power, eclecticism, and complex emotional and musical content, especially in the Credo section which grapples with doubt and faith.
The Choir of St James’ will be supported by a group of Sydney’s top orchestral players. This promises to be a beautiful performance.
