Sing with Barayagal Choir

When

Thursday 10 July from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Join us during NAIDOC Week's 50-year milestone, marking half a century of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. This year's theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead.

Enjoy a special performance and then join the choir in a workshop where you'll learn and sing a song together. We welcome people of all nationalities to attend and learn about First Nations culture, stories and songs.

Barayagal is a community choir, hosted by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the University of Sydney, led by Nardi Simpson. They meet weekly at Redfern Community Centre.

This free event is open to all ages.

We aim to present inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Pine Street Creative Arts Centre on 02 9265 9333 or pinestreet@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.

Bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days before the start of the event. For more information see our terms and conditions.
