Sunday 19 October from 4pm to 6pm
Australia's celebrated pianist, Simon Tedeschi, will perform with his long-time musical collaborator – renowned jazz pianist, Kevin Hunt, in a two-piano fundraiser for Standing Together.
Standing Together is a growing movement of Palestinian and Jewish citizens in Israel united in their struggle for peace, equality and justice for all, and against the occupation. This special event is proudly hosted by Sydney Friends of Standing Together.
Proceeds will help Standing Together continue leading urgent efforts to galvanise public opinion in Israel against the Israeli government’s crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, its abandonment of the captives in Gaza, and the harm it inflicts on all people in Israel-Palestine.
Proceeds will also support Standing Together’s longer-term goals: building hope, solidarity, and the will for change in Israel-Palestine. To build political change and a new majority within Israeli society that supports peace, equality, and social and environmental justice. There is another way.
"It’s a cause that matters deeply to me, and I would be honoured if you could join us in supporting it." – Simon Tedeschi
Accessibility note: We regret that there are steps at the venue, which will limit attendance for people with limited mobility.
