Silver jewellery: Wax modelling silver casting course

When

Wednesdays, 6pm to 9pm Wednesday 1 October to Wednesday 12 November

Wax modelling is an excellent technique for crafting intricate silver jewellery pieces. In Silver Jewellery: Wax Modelling Silver Casting Course, you will design and carve a wax model of a ring or pendant to your desired shape. This model will then be cast off-site in sterling silver, after your piece has been cast you will be able to add any finishing touches and polish your piece.

This enjoyable, structured, and relaxing silver jewellery course is open to everyone, from absolute beginners to those with an art or craft background, who want to learn basic jewellery-making skills.

All materials and tools are included, except for the cost of sterling silver casting. The casting fee will vary based on the size and weight of your piece. Please feel free to discuss your project with your tutor to get an estimate of the costs.

The course can be ongoing, and we encourage you to re-enrol if you wish to continue working on your projects or progress at your own pace.

You can create a unique piece of jewellery for yourself or someone special, or design a limited edition silver jewellery piece for sale.
