Shift

Shift is a series of works which explore moments and emotions we feel for a short time yet leave a lasting impression. 

A selection of portraits invite viewers to see the small, unguarded moments that come to define the private lives of each subject, before stepping back to be immersed in a feeling of change in motion through a selection of semi-abstract and botanical works. Together, this series seeks to capture what is fleeting so we can pause and consider what might otherwise pass by unnoticed. 

About the artist: Jessica Kinny is a multidisciplinary artist who uses a distinctive blend of semi-abstract techniques, bold colours and brushwork, to create highly textured, multi-layered works.
