Thursday 16 July from 10:30am to 12pm
Turn everyday items into something green and growing.
In this hands-on workshop, children will repurpose egg cartons into mini seed starters, planting their own seedlings to take home and care for. They’ll decorate plant labels, get their hands in the soil, and watch their creations come to life.
Along the way, children will explore how we can reduce, reuse, repair and recycle everyday materials in a fun activity. By sorting and discussing common household items, they’ll learn simple ways to reduce waste and make more sustainable choices.
This creative session encourages environmental awareness, problem-solving, and a connection to nature, - perfect for young learners who love to make and grow.
No experience needed, just bring your creativity.
