Monday 13 July from 10:30am to 11:30am
This hands-on activity invites children to use leftover cardboard and yarn to create unique woven coasters. Along the way, they’ll learn simple beginner weaving techniques and explore colour and pattern through their own designs.
It’s a fun and engaging way to build focus, creativity, confidence and fine motor skills in a supportive environment.
Designed for beginners, the workshop introduces basic fibre art techniques that children can keep developing at home. It also provides a pathway into future craft programs such as crochet and other textile activities. Kids will leave with their own handmade coaster, a sense of achievement and a greater understanding of creativity, sustainability and reusing everyday materials.
