Aw Yuck, That's Gross!
Explore the world of insects and bugs in this hands-on workshop led by entomologist and food scientist, Skye Blackburn, where you'll discover the role creepy-crawlies play in our world. Get up close with real Australian butterflies and have the optional opportunity to even eat some edible insects! A short tour of Elizabeth Bay House is included. Age 5+

Spooky Mini-Zine Workshop
Celebrate all things spooky by making your own haunted house mini-zine with author Lucie Stevens. Hear spooky stories inspired by Vaucluse House, before inventing your own kooky characters and creating a haunted house for them to dwell in. Ages 7–12

Macquarie Street Adventure
Join us on Friday 17 April for the Macquarie Street Adventure, a day of free drop-in activities presented by Museums of History NSW, the Parliament of NSW and the State Library of NSW.
Enjoy free drop-in activities in the Hyde Park Barracks courtyard. Learn the art of knot-tying with macramé artist Carol Lamb, enjoy craft activities and try your hand at convict bricklaying.

Justice & Police Museum

Pick up a kids trail and explore our captivating displays, and discover the stories of Sydney’s original Water Police Station and courts. Earn your own police badge, dress up in costume and perform a mock trial with your family. Unlock secrets and solve mysteries as you move through the museum.
