It’s Christmas, so it’s on again! The Queen Street & West Woollahra Association will hold the Annual Community Christmas Carols in Chiswick Park, Ocean Street, on Tuesday 2 December, a tradition going back nearly 40 years. Bring your picnics and rugs, and bag a precious spot close to the action.
Stalls, including face painting and balloon animals for children, will open at 5pm, followed by an official welcome and opening by the mayor at 6pm. Always a star turn, the Woollahra Public School Choir will be performing again, and community carol singing will be led by the Holdsworth Choir. The barbecue will be staffed by Chiswick Restaurant to complement your picnics, and refreshments will be available, including wine, champagne and oysters.
Father Christmas will also be attending and available for photos with families and children. As always, there will be raffle tickets for sale with great prizes for the lucky winners courtesy of our generous local businesses.
Put the date in your diary, pack your picnic and make it another very memorable evening.
This event is proudly supported by Woollahra Council, Georgia Cleary (McGrath Real Estate), Chiswick Restaurant and local businesses.
