Parlimento: The Exhibition at NSW Parliament House
Every day, 9am to 5pm Wednesday 1 July to Thursday 30 July
The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to view historical and everyday objects that reveal how Australia's oldest parliament has functioned and changed over more than two centuries.
Featuring items that are not usually on public display, including:
Historic dining menus and tableware
Sporting memorabilia
Objects connected to the Parliament buildings
Artefacts linked to the history of New South Wales
Together, these items provide insight into how the Parliament has operated as a working institution over time.
Join the specialists who researched, selected and interpreted the objects featured in the exhibition for a series of free 30‑minute Spotlight Talks. Each session explores selected objects, records and themes from Parliament ‘s Collections and Archives and includes an opportunity for questions.
The exhibition is complemented by the Parlimento website, which provides digital access to selected collection and archival materials, making them available to the public online.
Hosted by Ben Franklin, the exhibition will be held at Parliament House, Sydney.
