The OMNI International AI Film Festival is set to debut its second edition, OMNI 1.0,“Iterations” on November 6 at Dendy Cinema, Newtown. This A.I. (artificial intelligence) assisted film festival, offers viewers a glimpse into a possible future of cinema, created with human ingenuity, artificial intelligence and generative technologies.

About the Film Festival

OMNI is a biannual, international festival dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in generative video. OMNI is a reflection of now and our data-saturated era. The festival encourages audiences to ask big questions about AI, authorship, and the future of media. What do we value by giving our attention?

Jury Panel

The OMNI Film Festival proudly announces the jury panel for OMNI 1.0 Iterations:

Rita Arrigo, is a strategist coming from Australia's National AI Centre ecosystem and the world-first Responsible AI Network, and brings extensive expertise in transforming complex datasets into actionable intelligence across public and private sectors.

Yan Chen, veteran of Hollywood animation and founder of Aurora AI, Yan Chen brings a wealth of experience from studios like Disney and DreamWorks, where he contributed to iconic films such as The Matrix Reloaded and Happy Feet 2. His work continues to define the cutting edge of AI-driven video and live streaming technologies.

George Miller, Australian filmmaker George Miller will join the jury for the OMNI 1.0 2025 edition. Miller is the visionary director behind Mad Max, Happy Feet, and Furiosa, and brings decades of boundary-pushing storytelling and cinematic innovation to the OMNI jury.

Caroline Pegram, Pioneering AI innovator and the visionary producer and strategist behind groundbreaking projects like the AI Eurovision-winning track Beautiful the World and the innovative Wombtunes platform, and brings over two decades of expertise in merging cutting-edge technology with creative expression to the OMNI experience.

Jonathan Zawada, is a multidisciplinary artist and designer known for his surreal, data-driven visual style. Blending digital and physical media, he’s collaborated with artists like Flume and brands like Nike. His work explores the intersection of nature, technology, and identity.
